YOUR TASKS

The Powerplant Engineer is responsible for the dedicated systems of the fleet, providing support for on and off-wing components. The role maintains contact with various Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to provide engineering support.

  • Provision of technical support to other departments, including troubleshooting, information provision, and research.
  • Supporting departments such as Logistics, Records, and Finance with technical and administrative tasks.
  • Assisting in the production of reliability reports and managing the technical build-up, review, and adjustment of the aircraft and engine Maintenance Program (MP).
  • Managing the airworthiness of the fleet and dedicated systems (Engines, APUs), including follow-up of hard time components and recurrent problem solving.
  • Reviewing, analyzing, and preparing maintenance procedures based on manufacturer guidelines (SBs, ADs).
  • Handling maintenance data and recommendations, follow-up of inspections and modifications, and producing reports for investigations or analyses.
  • Monitoring engine condition trends and defining corrective/preventive actions.
  • Preparing work scopes for shop visits, reviewing reports, and proposing changes to MPs.
  • Managing specific technical projects, participating in cross-departmental projects, and improving departmental processes.
  • Identifying potentials for cost savings.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in CAMO engineering, aircraft engine, or related maintenance.
  • Proficiency in English and German.
  • Good knowledge of IT tools (Office, TRAX, AMOS desirable).
  • Systematic, analytical thinking, ability to work under stress, motivated, flexible, reliable, autonomous, accurate, team-oriented.
