Responsibilities:
- Define and oversee the system architecture for ADAS / AD platforms, including hardware, software, and communication layers.
- Ensure scalability, modularity, and robustness in architectural designs to support current and future ADAS / AD functionalities.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and suppliers to define system requirements and ensure architectural feasibility.
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in integrating sensors, controllers, and software algorithms into a cohesive ADAS / AD platform.
- Drive the development of system interfaces, data pipelines, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet).
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards such as ISO 26262 (functional safety), AUTOSAR, Cybersecurity, and ASPICE.
- Act as the primary technical interface with suppliers, ensuring alignment on architecture, integration, and performance goals.
- Review and validate supplier designs, ensuring compatibility with the overall ADAS / AD architecture.
Your profile:
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in automotive system architecture, with a focus on ADAS / AD technologies.
- Proven experience leading large-scale, end-to-end system architecture projects in OEM or Tier-1 environments.
- Strong understanding of ADAS / AD components such as cameras, radar, lidar, and ultrasonic sensors.
- Automotive-specific architecture certifications, such as iSAQB certifications, listed under 'Industry Certifications.'
- Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and cybersecurity under 'Regulatory Compliance.'
- Proficiency in UML and requirements engineering under 'Software Proficiency.'
- Familiarity with simulation tools, software development, and programming languages (e.g., C++, Python).
- Proficiency in communication protocols (e.g., CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet) and embedded systems.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
