Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to enhance the Jedox platform. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining software components that integrate seamlessly within Jedox’s Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure. By focusing on the Platform Customer Interaction layer, the engineer ensures that all components meet UX specifications and Definition of Done (DoD) standards. The ultimate goal is to deliver high-quality, KPI-driven features that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and overall experience of Jedox’s end users.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications – using modern technologies such as Java Spring, React, and TypeScript. This includes backend services, frontend interfaces, and integrations. (~55% of time)
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure code quality – by writing tests, enforcing standards, and maintaining deployment automation. Tools include GitHub, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, and SonarQube. (~10% of time)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (PMs, QA, Implementation Services) – to align on technical and strategic priorities, clarify requirements, and plan cross-functional work. Communication typically via AHA, Microsoft Teams, and regular agile ceremonies. (~15% of time)
  • Lead and mentor other engineers – providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and supporting professional development to improve the overall engineering output. (~10% of time)
  • Contribute to system and application architecture – making design decisions for scalable and maintainable systems. Includes evaluating and introducing new technologies when appropriate. Own and resolve cross-team technical initiatives – acting as the go-to person for system-wide or architectural issues and coordinating efforts across teams. (~10% of time)
Your Profile

You are an experienced software engineer with a strong background in full-stack development and a passion for improving platform efficiency and productivity. You thrive in leading teams and managing technical projects. You are adaptable, a quick learner, and excel in an agile environment. Key qualifications include:

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer or Software Engineer in cloud-based, production environments
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams with a focus on quality, clean code, and team enablement
  • Demonstrated track record of collaboration with product managers, QA, and business stakeholders on both technical and strategic initiatives
  • Extensive experience with scalable (micro-)service architectures and cloud-ready applications
  • Hands-on knowledge of clean code practices, design patterns, and thorough unit testing
  • Strong frontend experience with HTML, CSS, responsive design, and UI frameworks
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, GitHub Actions) and modern development workflows
  • Comfortable in agile environments (e.g., Scrum), with a bias toward collaboration, transparency, and delivery
