AGVR supplies AGV systems (Automatic Guided Vehicles), which are computer-controlled unmanned vehicles operating independently. From our offices in Barendrecht (NL) and Aachen (DE), we execute projects mainly across Dutch-speaking and German-speaking Europe. Our 24/7 hotline, along with service and maintenance activities, ensures high system availability for our customers.

The position

As Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the mechanical design, work preparation, assembly supervision, and documentation of AGV vehicles and potentially other logistics systems such as conveyors.

Your daily tasks will include:

1. Designing machines, detailing, and laying out drawing packages using 3D software
2. Work preparation and supplier selection for procurement of manufactured and purchased parts
3. Assisting with assembly and testing of the designs (in-house)
4. Creating and maintaining the documentation package (such as maintenance manuals)

Your qualified colleagues will handle control hardware and software aspects.

You will be based in Barendrecht.

Qualifications

• A completed Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with 3D drawing software, preferably Inventor
• Experience in mechanical engineering of machinery
• Good command of English, either as a native speaker or second language
• Independent, analytical, solution-oriented, and quick to learn new knowledge
• Possession of a driving license (B)
