Bring your drive. Make a difference. Join our Solutions Engineering team at Personio to build relationships, solve problems, and impact how people experience work daily.

As a Solution Engineer, you'll support sales opportunities, drive customer acquisition, and act as a technical interface between sales, product, engineering, customer success, and data privacy.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
  • Be the primary contact for our sales team working with Mid-Market customers in Germany.
  • Support account/opportunity strategy and commercial positioning.
  • Collaborate with account executives on technical requirements and solutions.
  • Maintain deep technical knowledge of Personio’s product suite and be the first line of defense for sales and prospects.
  • Own expertise in product positioning, use cases, technical landscape, and demos.
  • Assist in creating proposals and presentations, including ROI/TCO calculations.
  • Support other regions/markets as needed.
  • Travel to customer sites as required (10-20%).
Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
  • 3-5+ years in Solutions Engineering or similar.
  • Strong technical background in SaaS, IT infrastructure, and security protocols.
  • Understanding of the mid-sized customer market in Germany.
  • Customer-centric and commercially driven.
  • Data-driven, analytical, and able to adapt efforts based on needs.
  • Up-to-date knowledge in security/compliance (e.g., ISO27k).
  • Clear, structured communication skills.
  • Knowledge of value engineering and ROI/TCO quantification.
  • Fluent in German and English.
