You will be responsible for customer satisfaction, deployment, adoption, and support of Windows Server / Client initiatives. Assist customers in building, deploying, operating, and optimizing complex enterprise environments. This job has proven to be a career accelerator for hundreds of engineers over the years. You will be a trusted advisor, a specialist the room is looking to for guidance, education, and adherence to best practices, risk mitigation, etc. You will report to our Regional Leader.

Roles and Responsibilities and day-to-day activities:

• Experience with Windows servers 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• Experience with Active Directory and group policies
• Experience with VMware technology
• Responsible for daily operations of Windows-based servers running in a mixed physical and virtual (VMware ESX) environment.
• Experience with WSUS servers and clustered filesystems
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting
• Experience in Azure AD
• German Language B2 or higher

You will:

• Be responsible for daily operations of Windows-based servers in a mixed physical and virtual environment.
• Manage high availability of servers and services.
• Design, rollout, and maintain Active Directory Forest and Domain along with Domain Trust relationships, replication, and rollout.
• Support file and print services, RADIUS, DNS, DHCP, Domain Controller replication, and organizational unit management. Capable of scripting in MS PowerShell or VBScript.
• Install and configure IIS 6, IIS 7.
• Coordinate with hardware vendors for maintenance and hardware issue resolution.
• Perform Windows security patches and antivirus installations.
• Setup, configure, and troubleshoot complex Windows environments (e.g., clustering, high availability, load balancing).
• Manage and maintain Windows servers, perform system recovery, and optimize performance.
