For our Client, a Polish manufacturer specializing in construction materials, particularly in the production of bitumen membranes, waterproofing solutions, and insulation materials with almost 40 years of tradition which is developing the sales market in Germany, we are looking for candidates for the position of:

Country Sales Manager in construction materials industry - from central Germany

Your scope of duties:

  • active sale of innovative and high-quality products tailored for both residential and commercial construction industrie,
  • coordination of sales processes and acquisition of new customers,
  • participation in creating a sales development strategy on the German market and building new distribution channels,
  • managing the sales budget and promotion policy,
  • management of a small sales team,
  • setting goals and supporting the team in achieving them,
  • development of team members' competencies and recruitment of new employees,
  • participation in conferences, industry fairs and impeccable representation of the company, also in social media,
  • cooperation with other departments in the company;

Requirements:

  • excellent knowledge of German (level C1/C2) and very good knowledge of English or Polish (level B2/C1) - must have,
  • at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales in the construction materials industry on the German market,
  • due to the nature of the role, candidates are required to reside in Central Germany,
  • proven experience in managing a distributed team and managing sales processes,
  • practical knowledge of trade marketing,
  • strategic thinking skills and advanced organizational skills, leadership qualities,
  • ease in conducting business talks with the customers and advanced negotiation skills,
  • customer orientation and focus on achieving goals,
  • independence, commitment, passion for sales
  • energy and determination to achieve goals and ability to work under time pressure
  • driving license, willingness to work in the field and frequent business trips throughout Germany,
  • excellent communication skills, empathy, listening skills
  • practical knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Teams);
