Our client is a German-based manufacturer of IT products. They require an Electronic Hardware Design Project Engineer to join their team in Berlin.

Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments for both Hardware & Firmware applications is required.

The Role

The successful candidate will have significant experience designing hardware and firmware applications and will join the New Product Introduction team.

This role focuses on electronic design and project management from initial concept to manufacturing, primarily for major developments but also some limited ones.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in electronic engineering or relevant experience
• Experience in R&D environments and managing cross-functional project teams
• Knowledge of taking a concept through design development to production
• Ability to explore future innovations and new technologies
• Proficient in designing hardware and firmware applications
• Ability to select and integrate off-the-shelf components
• Experience designing medium/high volume electro/mechanical components
• German and English language skills
• Willingness to travel
