Role Overview

We are seeking a Strategy Director to join us and play a critical role in helping us make important strategic decisions. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of relevant work experience in strategy consulting, has a passion for crypto, and is a good people leader. This role is based in Hong Kong, but we are open to candidates from other locations who can accommodate Hong Kong working hours.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop strategic plans that are data-driven and aligned with the company's goals across different verticals of the crypto and fintech industries;
2. Work effectively with internal teams and external partners to implement strategic initiatives;
3. Recommend product pricing, such as fees to charge or rewards to offer, and monitor P&L to ensure sustainable growth, adjusting strategies as needed;
4. Perform data analysis on users and products, identify trends or gaps, and recommend improvements;
5. Assist with strategic partnerships and investments as appropriate;
6. Manage or mentor junior members of the strategy team;
7. Be a role model with a “founder’s mentality” and strong ownership.

Required qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher;
2. Based in Hong Kong or able to work during Hong Kong hours (GMT+8);
3. Strong interest in the blockchain/crypto industry, with good knowledge of DeFi being a strong plus;
4. Prefer candidates with 5-7 years of work experience in relevant industry management consulting and experience managing teams;
5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
6. (Plus but not required) Familiarity with Tableau, SQL, and/or Python for data analysis.
