Using multi-domain simulations (CAX) and virtual reality, we advance prototype-free development and make vehicle development more efficient.

  1. The goal of the master's thesis is to analyze and optimize future consumer protection crash scenarios for the North American market.
  2. Conduct finite element simulations and evaluate them according to current and future requirements.
  3. Assess and investigate various principle solutions for airbags, door panels, and seats.
  4. Develop new solutions for the World-Sid Dummy to meet USNCAP requirements.

Your profile to make the future possible

  1. Enrolled student in mechanical engineering, vehicle technology, or a comparable field of study.
  2. Basic knowledge of finite element methods.
  3. Ideally, some experience with LSDyna, Pamcrash, ANSA systems.
  4. High motivation and structured, analytical working style.
  5. Independent and efficient working approach, high motivation, and teamwork skills.
