About Reinsurance:

As part of our Reinsurance competency at Sollers, we serve increasingly demanding clients and distribution partners. Many insurance companies still lag in digital service speed and quality, often relying on legacy solutions like Excel spreadsheets, which create bottlenecks and complicate data quality. Our Reinsurance solutions optimize decision-making, minimize claims leakage, ensure accurate reporting, and support reinsurance programs.

About the role. You will :

  1. Be responsible for the market success of reinsurance initiatives.
  2. Define core positioning and messaging for reinsurance solutions.
  3. Build and maintain a sales pipeline by identifying new opportunities with existing and new clients.
  4. Collaborate with external partners on potential partnerships and licensing.
  5. Act as a trusted advisor for IT projects within financial institutions.
  6. Participate in the full agile development lifecycle, working closely with international clients.
  7. Coordinate with internal teams to create cohesive sales pipelines.
  8. Engage directly with clients as part of agile project teams.

About the requirements. You need :

  1. Experience selling software solutions and implementation services to large organizations.
  2. At least 3 years in Business Development or similar roles responsible for sales in IT within the insurance sector.
  3. Strong understanding of insurance industry processes.
  4. Experience with IT platform implementation and project management.
  5. Ability to build relationships with C-level and B-1 level executives in Finance, Underwriting, Risk Management, and Operations.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  9. Proficiency in German and English (C1 or higher).
  10. Leadership experience and team management skills.
  11. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  12. Adaptability to changing environments.
  13. Eligibility to work in the European Union.

Nice to haves :

  1. Knowledge of enterprise architecture and large-scale distributed systems.
  2. Experience mentoring teams and fostering growth.
  3. Knowledge of reinsurance processes in large insurance or reinsurance firms.
  4. Team management experience with a results-oriented approach.
  5. Fluency in French.
  6. Understanding of UK and DACH insurance markets and existing industry contacts.
  7. Experience in consulting, implementation, or IT within insurance sectors.
  8. Expertise in reinsurance to provide insights and guidance.
