The Team - your impact

In our Payroll Management product team you will join about 18 colleagues and report to the Head of HR DT Payroll Services. The department is responsible for providing stable and state-of-the-art solutions to run payroll for major E.ON countries including Germany, UK, Sweden, and Romania. As a Senior Application Engineer SAP HCM Time Management (f/m/d), you will be responsible for implementing and further developing our HCM system, helping to provide the best user experiences to our internal E.ON customers and satisfying employees, managers, and HR departments. You will be part of a diverse hybrid working organization across various locations that promotes collaboration and innovation.

Your Role - meaningful & rewarding

• Consult, implement, test, and document technical requirements in SAP HCM Time Management (mainly Germany, Sweden, UK, and Romania) and technical interfaces in a BizDevOps setup, collaborating closely with the international team.
• Ensure stable integration with third-party systems (e.g., time terminals, access management).
• Analyze, support, and implement technical changes in projects such as company foundations, carve-outs, or new collective agreements.
• Investigate and resolve complex system issues across the HCM landscape with a focus on long-term stability and performance.
• Contribute to digitalization and AI-driven projects and initiatives, bringing technical innovation to life.
• Play an active role in generating ideas and innovations, as well as handling problem and incident management.

Your Profile - authentic & open-minded

• Several years of hands-on experience with SAP HCM Time Management and connected systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to stay focused and effective under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent team spirit, with a user-centric mindset and focus on delivering results.
• Ability to guide, mentor, and support team development.
• Fluent in English, with solid communication skills in German (spoken and written).
