Position Overview :

Our client is seeking a fully qualified lawyer with a strong foundation in commercial law and a proactive mindset to join our Legal Department. In this role, you will take on the critical responsibilities of the Data Protection Officer and serve as a strategic legal advisor across departments. You will be the go-to expert on data privacy matters—guiding teams, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and shaping the data protection framework.

Responsibilities :

• Draft and negotiate contracts, advise on complex legal challenges, and influence our approach to IT, outsourcing, and regulatory topics like DORA and IT security.
• Collaborate with specialist departments and procurement, navigate regulatory requirements, and support contract negotiations. Your legal expertise will be a trusted asset throughout the organization.
• Stay informed about evolving legislation, guide its integration into internal procedures, and actively influence the development of data protection law.

The ideal candidate would have :

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in Data Protection and Commercial Law.
