Your role:

As Business Development Manager/Sales at rcp, you’ll be on the frontlines, pitching and selling our family of studios' most exciting game projects to top-tier publishers and clients around the world. Whether it’s securing new partnerships for original IPs or helping our teams land work-for-hire deals, your impact will directly help our developers thrive.

You'll also take on a strategic role as a BizBuddy for selected studios: acting as a commercial sparring partner, helping shape long-term strategy, and challenging business decisions when needed. You’ll be part of the studio’s Strikeforce — its core decision-making group — and help ensure that creative ambition and commercial sustainability go hand in hand.

Looking for more than just a sales role? This one gives you real influence — with studios, strategy, and outcomes.
The kind of stuff you’ll be doing
  • Business development for the rcp family of developers with a strong focus on sales
  • Pitch and sell our game projects to publishers and other potential clients
  • Work on customer solutions („work for hire“- sales)
  • Evaluate possible feasibility, profitability & risks with other departments
  • Identify and secure potential clients for our various teams
  • Bring in your creativity in consultation services for our teams’ next pitches
  • Customer relationship and stakeholder management (clients, partners, rcp developers)
  • Visit trade shows, conventions, and matchmaking events (networking)
  • Investigate market trends and gather intelligence on the industry
  • Explore ways to expand current business sectors, appraise potential joint ventures, and seek out distribution partners
Your profile:
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager with a distinguished track record of success.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices
  • Skilled at applying structured sales processes to develop and close opportunities
  • Confident in selling and negotiating across all levels of decision-making
  • You’ve worked in games and know how to navigate the industry
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Highly energetic, self-motivated, and sales-oriented
  • Strong will for clean reporting (using CRM tools)
  • Well-organized, goal-driven, with the ability to contribute innovative ideas and a fresh take on challenges
  • A team player who communicates clearly and collaborates well across roles
  • Ability to turn trends and patterns into actionable approaches
  • Fluent in business English (written & spoken)
  • If you bring German or other language skills to the table, that’s a welcome bonus — we collaborate across borders.
  • Bonus points if you know how to talk the language of funding — whether it’s pitching, negotiating, or structuring deals
Perks
  • Creative, casual, and international environment
Colleagues who respect you as a professional in your field
  • Work with teams that love their job!
  • Being part of a strong family of (>500) game developers
  • A modern workplace right in the heart of Munich
  • Public transport compensation in Munich (German Ticket)
  • The possibility to work remotely (time zone 1 - 2 hours difference is ok) or relocation support
  • Professional health coaching with a Sports Scientist & Medical Training Therapist (OLAO HEALTH) - digital and live
  • A well-stocked library with books, games, and games consoles
  • As much fruit, coffee & drinks as you want in the office
  • Regular team & company events like a summer party, Oktoberfest, and Movie and Gaming Nights
  • And a lot of fun :-)
