Position: Travel Specialist

As our Travel Specialist, you'll inspire customers to travel to China with China Tours. You'll be an expert with a passion for China, creating and selling high-quality, authentic group trips to German-speaking clients. You will manage trip preparation and follow-up, providing excellent customer service via email and phone.

You will report directly to our Brand Director and work within a growing international team of passionate individuals. We value diversity and the perspectives of people from all backgrounds.

Daily Responsibilities

1. Advise customers before and after trips via phone and email.
2. Create a unique sales experience to meet your goals.
3. Negotiate services and prices with local providers to get the best deals.
4. Manage the presentation of travel products on our website.
5. Coordinate reservations with flight and service providers to ensure trip quality.
6. Develop new travel products, including designing trips from scratch.

Required Skills and Qualities

• Passion for client contact via phone and email.
• Excellent communication skills in English, German (native), and Chinese (a plus).
• Travel experience and passion for China.
• Understanding of selling travel products.
• Positive attitude, enjoyable to work with, and ability to stay calm under stress.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Chinese language skills.
• Experience in tourism, especially tour operations.
• Sales and customer service experience.
• Software proficiency.
