We are seeking a Data Center Demand and Capacity Management Planner (f/m/d) to join our growing team in Germany.

Overview

Our client is a premium automotive manufacturer in Germany. As a Data Center Demand and Capacity Management Planner, you will manage resources such as LAN hardware, networks, rack space, passive IT infrastructure, and IT system space within data centers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers and manage resources for cabling, power connections, installation, conversion, and dismantling activities.
• Monitor and track incidents, changes, and problems.
• Manage power loads and overloads in racks.
• Identify racks for conversion to SFE or SDN racks and document them.
• Maintain documentation in wikis, CMDBs, collaborating with customers and departments.
• Generate statistics and prepare management reports, e.g., server power consumption and U of servers used.
• Provide technical advice to the customer.
• Demonstrate extensive data center expertise.
• Manage suppliers and coordinate resources effectively.
• Business fluency in both German and English.
