Grow, identify, and seek revenue from all segmentations assigned in the territory on behalf of Oman Air.
- Achieve & exceed the allocated sales targets set out by the Regional Sales Manager / Sales Manager for the assigned territory.
- Identify customers’ needs to initiate a win/win scenario using effective negotiation techniques.
- Develop solutions within the territory to increase revenue for Oman Air.
- Apply a mindset of ROI to assess the true value of partnerships to Oman Air's business (cost-conscious).
- Lead and activate proposed methods of ancillary revenue campaigns for the assigned territory.

General Business and Clients
- Achieve assigned sales targets and be accountable for results within the territory.
- Identify potential opportunities and set out an action plan to generate new business streams for Oman Air.
- Create an account development plan to increase revenue streams within the territory.
- Analyze the customer base, identify, grow, and develop revenue using appropriate actions and initiatives within company guidelines and policies.
- Identify opportunities to increase ancillary revenue streams for Oman Air.
- Be considered the ‘owner’ of deliverable revenue from web revenue streams in the territory.
- Be cost-conscious in all actions, favoring low-cost distribution models (NDC) for revenue generation.
- Adopt a mindset shift towards direct distribution channels (NDC / Web / Mobile / Call Center) for the territory.
Customer relationship management
- Negotiate with key territory partners to activate commercial objectives where applicable, ensuring maximization of business partnerships and creating a strong customer base for Oman Air.
- Service business in the territory for resolutions impacting Oman Air revenue streams, in line with company policy and procedures.
- Lead as the primary advisor within the territory on developments within Oman Air for continuity and growth.
- Manage PLBs and incentive schemes in the respective territory.
Support and Assistance
- Provide timely product support and communicate effectively with trade partners, leading communication on progress and recommendations within the territory.
- Work with inter-departmental stakeholders to initiate solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Support marketing events and initiatives within the assigned territory.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Support internal guidelines and processes for necessary actions within the territory.
Reports
- Prepare and focus on a sales plan aligned with strategic regional goals and management directives.
- Provide weekly and other periodic reports as required by management.
- Update regularly on competitive activity to the commercial management.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
Minimum Education, Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- Fresh Bachelor’s degree in any discipline OR
- College diploma in any discipline with 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with an airline or in the travel industry.
Special Skills & Knowledge (Preferred)
- Proficient in English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing).
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, & Word.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Technical GDS knowledge; understanding of NDC is preferred.
- Experience using airline data tools such as BSP / MIDT.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- IATA Basic Ticketing and Reservation knowledge.
- Extensive territory contact base with experience negotiating with corporate travel businesses.
- Highly analytical, capable of identifying opportunities using data sets and in-house tools.
- A general understanding of airline industry segmentation and its importance to Oman Air.
