Job Description:

The successful candidate for this position will be a 1099 contractor with Music Ministry International and be responsible for the following:

1. Title: Protestant RE Coordinator for the Ramstein Chapel, called "RE Coordinator."
2. Scope of Responsibilities: Responsible for RE administrative functions at Ramstein AB, Germany, working closely with the Chaplain to ensure budgets, program schedules, publicity, and other items are developed and implemented. Foreign nationals are not eligible bidders due to contact with minors. The RE Coordinator shall have at least twelve months retainability in the local area and provide all personnel, labor, materials, and transportation to support the Ramstein Chapel's RE program. The role includes coordinating, facilitating, and organizing religious education programs for students from school-age through adulthood.
3. Contract Details: This is a non-personal service contract. The U.S. Government does not supervise or control the method of performing the required tasks. The RE Coordinator must avoid actions that resemble personal services and notify the Contracting Officer if they believe any actions could be perceived as personal services. Decisions related to supported programs are solely the responsibility of the U.S. Government.
4. Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Protestant RE leadership experience, fluency in English, at least 2 years of Microsoft Office experience, understanding of Protestant doctrines and worship practices, and relevant skills in interpersonal relations, organization, communication, computer literacy, and budgeting.
5. General Responsibilities: Developing and maintaining the RE program, submitting annual calendars and budgets, coordinating facility requests, advertising, supporting program activities, managing volunteers, ensuring facility readiness, maintaining supplies, recording attendance, and maintaining records and budgets.
6. Criminal History Background Check: Submit completed background check applications to the Chaplain Corps background check program manager.
