The company helps their clients to optimize and get the most value from their existing technology investments in source-to-contract and procure-to-pay platforms like Ivalua, Ariba, Coupa, etc. They provide pre- and post-deployment services including advisory and strategy, processes and systems optimization and best practices, supplier enablement and support, functional project execution, change management and training.

Job Description

As a Functional Consultant you will embark on a fast-paced career path that will allow you to utilize your experience, process knowledge and Ivalua product configuration possibilities. Your knowledge to design, advise, configure systems and sell & manage programs, will help define ‘industry and product’ leading transformation programs.

Your responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate Source to Contract and/or Procure to Pay knowledge with deep hands-on consulting background around Procurement transformation in SaaS and ERP implementations.
2. As a Stream lead, take responsibility for Mobilization and Design project phase.
3. Act as a Trusted Advisor, consulting clients with complex business problems in Sourcing and Procurement, with the ability to acquire, absorb, and apply complex business knowledge quickly.
4. Determine client needs and demands and translate them into a logical and technical business model achievable through the Ivalua Platform.
5. Lead and document the outcomes of design workshops with clients, ensuring that the design aligns with Ivalua Platform capabilities and best practices, while delivering the highest value to the client.
6. Advise clients on alternative solutions/functionalities that best fit their business requirements, ensuring Ivalua Platform usability in line with client requirements and the company’s best practices.
7. Engage with senior client stakeholders, including interacting, communicating, presenting, and aligning with executive sponsors, leadership, and other decision-makers.
8. Internally, contribute to growing the Procurement Transformation practice, including marketing strategy, partner development and maintenance, content development and planning, and proposal development.
9. In-depth knowledge of the following domains is important for the success of the role:

1. Sourcing
2. Contract Management
3. Supplier Performance Management
4. Supplier Risk Management
5. Procurement to Pay
6. Invoice Management

Requirements

1. At least 3 years of proven experience and strong process knowledge within the Procurement area.
2. Fluent command of German and English, both spoken and written.
3. Some travel may be necessary (~20%).
4. Knowledge and experience deploying eProcurement solutions.
5. Ability to conduct Process GAP analysis and lead workshops with Business and Process Architects.
6. Expertise in documenting business requirements into design documents.
7. Strong communication skills and assertiveness to work with business counterparts globally, along with strong analytical & problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Critical thinking and leadership skills to negotiate client requirements, identify process improvement opportunities, and create best practices in S2C and P2P processes.
9. Ability to operate effectively both autonomously and within an international team.
10. Familiarity with project management tools.
11. Experience in Ivalua system design, including users, org structure, finance data, etc., is an advantage.
12. Experience in Ivalua workflow design to reflect underlying business processes is an advantage.
13. Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems is an advantage.
