We are seeking a Senior Technical Operations Specialist to join our Control Room team. You will manage ongoing escalations and investigations, ensure effective communication with partners and management during issue resolution, develop new operational workflows, and ensure the smooth operation of all company products.

What you will do:

1. Operational Ownership: Oversee high-level monitoring of company operations to ensure efficiency.
2. Incident Management & Resolution: Lead escalation and incident management to ensure swift resolution and minimal operational impact.
3. Problem-Solving & Innovation: Conduct technical investigations and collaborate on designing solutions for complex challenges.
4. Data-Driven Insights: Use data analysis to validate hypotheses, uncover insights, and identify optimization opportunities.
5. Strategic Project Leadership: Support and lead strategic operational projects.
6. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to products and systems.
7. Tool & Process Development: Collaborate on building and refining tools and workflows.
8. Effective Communication: Manage internal and external communications for issue resolution and updates.

Workplace:

Remote-first company with HQ in Berlin. We prefer candidates based in Berlin/Germany.

Who you are:

• At least 3+ years of experience in roles like 2nd/3rd level technical support, IT analyst, or monitoring roles.
• Ability to identify root causes of incidents and analyze solutions at a high level.
• Product-oriented mindset focusing on long-term risk prevention.
• Experience with SQL queries and relational databases.
• Ability to develop strategies to predict, prevent, and address technical and operational bottlenecks.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Jira, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic is a plus.
• Excellent collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English, able to simplify complex issues.
• Analytical, independent, tech-savvy, comfortable with fast-paced environments.
