We are seeking a talented Leather Design Specialist in Mülheim an der Ruhr or the Stuttgart area, Germany, to join our team.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Work closely with color & trim designers from various OEMs.
2. Understand customer requirements and translate them into innovative leather products.
3. Develop comprehensive leather design concepts, including color and enrichments (perforation, embossing, embroidery, quilting, printing, etc.).
4. Convert design concepts into production-ready drawings.
5. Conduct trend research and develop global design and trend presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CMF design (color, material, finish), industrial design, graphic design, textile design, or related fields.
• 8-10 years of professional design experience, preferably in mobility or automotive design.
• Strong skills in materials and color integration, with the ability to identify subtle color nuances.
• Creative mindset with a good understanding of consumer trends and material preferences.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator; excellent presentation skills.
• Experience working in international environments with sensitivity and adaptability.
• Well-organized, self-motivated, and passionate about design.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work approach.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
