Job Description

The Digital Content Platforms department is one of six strategic units within the Corporate IT area Digital Experience Platforms, responsible for implementing central IT platforms for digital content, focusing on digital media, marketing, and language technologies for all divisions and corporate functions worldwide.

The role involves full application management for all ZEISS divisions and their stakeholders.

Your Role

As an IT Security Engineer, you will be the primary contact for defining, implementing, and enhancing IT security in accordance with ZEISS Group's information security principles within the Digital Content Platform Team.

• Review and oversee cloud security (Azure, AWS) and the security of various SaaS applications and interfaces based on company-wide policies.
• Support the design, evaluation, and implementation of new solutions focusing on SaaS and cloud technologies, including AI solutions, ensuring security compliance.
• Participate in digitization projects, assist in selecting and implementing cloud and AI solutions, and verify security standards.
• Monitor applications for vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with the Information Security department to enhance global security policies.
• Create and maintain security documentation for SaaS applications.
• Represent the department on IT committees and with external service providers as the security contact.

Your Profile

• Degree in computer science, IT security, business informatics, or a related IT field.
• Experience as a security engineer or in a similar cybersecurity role.
• Knowledge of security frameworks like ISO 27001 and ASVS.
• Experience with secure development lifecycle environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, AI platform security, and 'Security by Design' principles.
• Familiarity with SaaS applications and web technologies.
• Excellent communication skills across hierarchical levels.
• Fluent English; German skills are advantageous.
• Analytical, structured thinking, and excellent presentation skills.
• Solution-oriented approach.
