Job Description

• Leading sourcing boards with departments and aligning on sourcing strategies
• Owning Source to Pay process for the category: from planning to payment including suppliers selection, tendering, and negotiations
• Preparing guidelines and benchmarking
• Evaluating savings potential for each account at EU level, delivering savings
• Creating and executing a category roadmap
• Evaluating payment terms per category and executing improvement targets
• Contract management: creating contract overviews and renewal plans
• Working efficiently and autonomously in a highly self-driven manner
• Coordinating multiple internal stakeholders across various hierarchy levels
• Driving collaboration and partnership with vendors

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably with experience in implementing new processes and category management
• Experience in categories such as Technology (IT: software, hosting, telephony), Classifieds, Real Estate, Facility Management, Human Resources, or Marketing
• Completed studies, preferably a master's degree
• Ideally, in-depth knowledge of global procurement as a Procurement Manager
• Experience in building strategies and driving initiatives for business improvement
• A high level of analytical thinking coupled with advanced Excel skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German is a plus
