The Business Office Manager assists with the day-to-day management of the Physical Therapy Business Office. Oversees the activities of Billing, Collection, Patient Access, Accounts Payable, and Scheduling responsibilities of the clinic. The Business Office Manager serves as a resource to clinical office staff.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
2 years of Business Office Management required.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Basic Life Support required.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and expertise in hospital managed-care contracting, billing, and collection for services provided. Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Outlook. Paragon/EMR experience preferred. Must be knowledgeable in Hospital Operations Flow.
WORK SCHEDULE
Normally scheduled 8-hour workdays, Monday – Friday; however, additional hours may be required due to an increase in workload, assignment, and completion of special projects. Must be flexible if required to work long or irregular hours.
