Job Description:

As (Senior) Solution Architect – Global Transactional Banking (m/f/d), you will be at the forefront of driving transformation projects, shaping architectures and advising clients in corporate transaction banking. Leveraging your deep understanding of cash management & payments processes and the related technology, you will work with our customers to define suitable business solutions and architectures that improve their cash management & payments services.

With your in-depth process and solution expertise, you are recognized as an expert in your field, and you collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders, both from business and IT, to advise them on the best solutions to their business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Interact with prospects, customers and sales teams to comprehensively understand and anticipate business requirements and challenges
2. Utilize your deep industry knowledge to clearly articulate customer requirements
3. Translate complex business needs into well-defined solution designs and architectures that are technologically sound and based on SAP Fioneer products, Transactional Banking and Virtual Account Management
4. Prove the suitability of your solution designs and discover additional innovation needs (via fit-gap-analyses)
5. Advise customers on the best possible use of SAP Fioneer products – ensuring operational excellence, sustainable growth, and high-value capture
6. Drive transformation in customer projects with a strong focus on solutions for banking software

Requirements

1. Excellent Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Finance, Economics, Physics, Mathematics; MBA or PHD is a plus
2. 7+ years of work experience in consulting, banks and/or software companies; as an architect or overseeing / driving technology transformation within the banking sector
3. Proven track record of successful project execution and collaborative product development in the area of commercial banking / corporate banking
4. Deep expertise in corporate banking, in particular global transaction banking, cash management and payments, and solid understanding of technology
5. Hands-on mentality to deliver value
6. Experience with SAP products and/or SAP consulting – ideally in banking
7. Strong business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit and interpersonal skills
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. German is a plus
