Job Description

For our client, an Italian manufacturing company and market leader in Fluid- and Drive technology, we are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager (all genders) - Mechanical + Hydraulic components (all genders) in the Czech Republic.

You will travel independently within the Czech Republic and be responsible for achieving sales targets in your area. Your duties include maintaining the existing customer base and strategically expanding it.

Responsibilities
  1. Acquire new customers and support existing ones in your sales territory to meet sales targets.
  2. Conduct sales presentations, training sessions, and negotiate with customers to sell products and services successfully.
  3. Plan, coordinate, and execute customer visits independently in the field.
  4. Travel extensively within the region, usually without overnight stays.
  5. Monitor market trends and competition; develop your sales territory strategically.
  6. Create weekly reports to document results and develop sales strategies.
  7. Serve as the first contact for customer complaints and technical project support.
  8. Ensure smooth communication between Italy, Germany, and customers to facilitate business operations.
  9. Collaborate closely with internal departments and the sales team.
Requirements
  • Reside currently in the Czech Republic.
  • Preferably hold a technical degree or similar qualification (e.g., industrial or mechanical engineering).
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in technical roles, sales engineering, application engineering, or related fieldwork.
  • Excellent written and spoken skills in English and Czech.
  • Fluent German is an advantage.
  • Self-organized, independent, and results-oriented work style.
  • Enjoy working with people.
  • Willingness to travel, flexible, with a valid Class B driver's license.
