We are seeking a Medical Director with a strong background in Ophthalmology.

The role can be based remotely in select EMEA locations. The Medical Director is a medical expert with specialized therapeutic expertise, experience across indications, client engagement, and drug development. They will initiate and maintain medical and consultative relationships with clients, serve as a medical monitor for projects, and potentially take on leadership roles, including mentoring or managing physicians.

The primary focus areas include Medical Monitoring Delivery & PV Support. The medical monitor will independently provide all necessary medical support for project success, according to contractual agreements and assigned roles (Global or Regional Lead Physician).

Expertise in Ophthalmology is essential, demonstrated through high-quality consultation on protocol development, medical review, collaboration in therapeutic area meetings, and contributions to publications and training materials.

Core skills include Client Relationship Building & Engagement, soliciting and addressing client feedback, and providing medical leadership in proposal development for client bids.
