How you’ll make a difference

• Manage and work with data to develop analytical models: Support the Asset Liability Management (ALM) team by developing new solutions for reporting and market data research, enhancing models to optimize data analysis and supporting strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain internal ALM applications: Develop new and enhance existing ALM applications and tools, including the conception, technical implementation, testing, and documentation of internal applications aimed at operational process improvement.
• Ensure the seamless operation and high quality of internal applications and reports: The candidate will be responsible for continuously monitoring the performance and data integrity of all applications to guarantee their optimal functioning. This involves collaborating closely with the IT Infrastructure team and other relevant departments to ensure system availability and address any technical issues or data discrepancies that arise promptly. The role requires proactive identification and implementation of enhancement initiatives, facilitating improvements that promote efficiency and reliability across all reporting platforms.
• Conduct analytics on market data and ALM portfolios: Perform detailed market data analytics and portfolio assessments to inform funding strategy decisions and operational enhancements.
• Support funding strategies through analytics: In collaboration with the ALM team, support the development and implementation of funding strategies and hedging of financial market risks for various business units.

• Technical Proficiency: Several years of experience with .Net (C#) and Angular for application development, and familiarity with data platform integration and management. Strong skills in Python and R for data analysis.
• Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of financial instruments, funding strategies, knowledge of ALM principles, and familiarity with financial market risk management.
• Problem Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to develop analytical models, perform detailed market data analytics, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication skills for cross-functional teamwork, ability to articulate technical solutions in a business context.
• Education and Experience: Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or a related field; experience in financial services preferred; application / software development experience required.
• Languages: Proficiency in English; additional language skills, especially German, are a plus.
