Our client is a leading data centre business who is growing at pace across EMEA. They're looking to build and grow their construction team, and are looking for a talented Senior Construction Project Manager who will report into the Director of Construction for the region.

The Senior Project Manager (PM) for Data Center Design and Construction Projects will oversee the full lifecycle of data centre development, from initial design and permitting through to construction, commissioning, and handover to operations. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the project, including coordinating the design, construction, procurement, subcontractors, vendors, and client interfaces. The Sr PM will ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements, while meeting the highest standards of quality and safety.

We are looking for a Senior PM with at least 10 years of experience managing large-scale data centre construction projects or similar complex infrastructure projects or Oil & Gas projects. You will have a proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar construction projects, with a focus on data centres, mission-critical facilities, or high-tech infrastructure.

You will have excellent experience managing teams of contractors, consultants, and subcontractors across multiple project phases (design, construction, commissioning, handover).

The role is based out of Frankfurt and we need someone with strong knowledge of German regulations for building construction, health and safety laws, and energy management standards (ISO 50001).

Ideally you'll have strong German & English language skills, however this is not essential, but you will have strong experience of working within this region with a good understanding of the local culture and how to deliver construction projects.

You will have excellent leadership skills, with strong project management experience. You'll be a problem solver and a team player, and someone who has a real passion for what they do. You'll be ambitious, someone who enjoys working with stakeholders at all levels, with a creative and entrepreneurial mindset.

You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, or equivalent) are a plus, but not essential.
