We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer and are looking for a motivated employee for the position of Flight Test Engineer (m/f/d).

• Coordination of development and certification tests
• Development of a flight test program for a CS/FAR23 commuter aircraft
• Development of flight test cards
• Definition of flight test instrumentation
• Coordination and planning of aircraft modifications
• Development of procedures and maneuvers for flight test cards
• Preparation and conduction of ground and flight tests
• Classification of test hazards and risk mitigation procedures
• Data reduction and qualified real-time/post-flight analysis
• Compilation of test reports
• Participation during onsite and offsite test campaigns
• Guidance of the transition from prototype to serial production

Your profile:

• Completed studies in aerospace engineering; or a similar degree or adequate education/experience in the aeronautical industry
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience
• Experience in flight testing is required
• Experience with development and certification flight testing is preferred
• Experience in aircraft evaluation, verification, and validation
• Familiarity with Part 21 and CS/FAR23 requirements
• Experience with flight testing of power plants, propellers, and fuel systems is advantageous
• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM Software is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office software
• A flight background is a plus
• Good command of the English language
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work style
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented, analytical, and process-minded
• Flexible and willing to support other functions across the organization
