PURPOSE

You will work in a fast-paced environment alongside program and project managers, delivering a host of innovative solutions that meet the needs of our diverse customer base. You derive energy from working with others of diverse backgrounds and engaging directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities

This role offers a range of responsibilities and possibilities:

• Managing independent projects: Project sizes will vary and may be part of a program. You will manage the project throughout its life cycle - from qualification stage through project closure. Attention to detail, time management, and influencing people skills are key ingredients to be successful in managing projects.
• Working with Program and/or Project Managers: There will be times when you will assist a program or project manager by managing sub-projects or key task elements. With each assignment, you will report regularly on progress and manage each assignment through its completion.
• Working with project teams: Every project is completed through team effort. You can work effectively with teammates that may be local or distant. You will host meetings as needed to gather and share project details. Your ability to help drive activities through others to meet project timelines and goals is key for driving project success.
• Working with customers: When working with program or project managers, you help fulfill the project commitments to our customers as assigned. There will be times when you will be in front of the customer clarifying requirements, communicating on project status, or interacting with customer work teams on project activities.
• Project Management administration: Your ability to write clearly and simply is key to documenting project activities. Documentation can range from requirement summaries, resource and project plans, status reports, change requests, risks, issues, and variance reports to lessons learned. Accuracy is key to all documentation.
  
  
  

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

• Ideally, you have a track record in Project Management, managing one or more projects from inception through to closure within a commercial environment.
• Optimally, you have experience with an IT solution- or airline industry solutions provider and are ready to hit the ground running.
