Job Description:
VIE - Key Account Manager for Employment & Learning (d/f/m)

What is the VIE program?

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international initiative sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, offering young professionals paid work experience abroad in technical or business roles within Airbus.

You will be part of our transnational team responsible for competence management, employment, and learning. Our team develops a resource strategy for the Helicopter division.

Your location

At our Donauwörth site, we develop helicopters from initial concept to the final airworthy product. You can see them take off and land on our on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities
  1. Support the preparation of Resource Reviews focusing on competence, employment, and learning strategies, including yearly action plans.
  2. Follow up on action plans from resource reviews with a multifunctional team (recruiters, learning advisors, HR business partners, academies).
  3. Manage projects related to competence development, employment, and learning innovation and strategy, including:
  • Onboarding of new employees and early career development
  • Reporting activities and communication on employment topics such as I&D recruitment, employment marketing, staffing, and internal mobility
  • Representing Airbus in the internal mobility community of practice (CoP)
  • Participating in user experience groups to improve employment dashboards and reporting
  • Supporting the EMP-20 process ('To Recruit and Onboard People')
  • Providing transversal support to country and functional Key Account Managers
  • Organizing team events and CoP workshops focused on transnational collaboration
  • Preparing for team meetings, strategic and operational reviews, and recruitment reviews
  • Engaging in projects related to employment, competence, and learning, such as candidate experience and internal training.
Desired skills and qualifications
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, International Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Team player with enjoyment in working with diverse teams
  • Analytical mindset and interest in data analytics
  • Structured approach to work
  • Interest in social media and digital communication
  • First international experience through studies, internships, or work abroad
  • Proficiency in English; basic German skills are a plus
