Job Description:

For our client, a renowned global investments company, we are currently recruiting a Legal Counsel to join the Legal department at their German HQ in Frankfurt am Main. The core business of the client in Frankfurt is Asset Servicing. In this position, you will report to the Head of Legal Germany.

About the role:

As Legal Counsel, your main focus areas will include advising the business and management on banking and financial law and regulation, supporting the development of products and services, and supporting strategic business initiatives. Additionally, you will handle contracts with clients (mainly custody services) and advise on AIFMD/UCITS related matters.

About you:

• Strong experience, gained in a law firm or the legal department of a financial institution.
• Fully qualified as a German lawyer (Volljurist:in).
• Extensive experience with major regulations (AIFMD, UCITS V, KAGB, DepotG, CRD IV, MiFID, etc.).
• Business fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
