Purpose of the role
- The position will report directly to the Director of EMEA Climate Smart Ag Origination.
- This unique newly created role will handle the responsibilities of business development, coordination between Commercial and Origination trading/ Regen Ag and building & rolling out programs.
- The primary role of the position is to pitch and drive Differentiation and Regenerative Agriculture activity and programs to customers and clients and to manage the execution of contracts, protect ADM’s Position, Deliver on Climate Smart Goals, Unlock Growth at an Accelerated Rate, and Improve the Customer Experience.
Responsibilities
- Be an expert on climate smart solutions related to our enterprise offerings.
- Manage the climate smart solutions product portfolio and oversee its management.
- Coordinate and ensure delivery on KPIs to meet annual climate smart goals.
- Promote our Regenerative Agriculture Program and other Differentiation Platforms.
- Partner with business development, marketing, sales, and KAM teams to support engagement and activation of climate smart solutions for key customers, identify customer needs, respond to inquiries, and develop value propositions.
- Leverage climate smart solutions to deepen customer relationships and create growth opportunities.
- Coordinate project delivery from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Unit Managers, Communications, Marketing, Sales, R&D, and others to drive results.
- Create marketing storylines and presentations to promote Regen Ag and Differentiation solutions.
- Conduct market research and create business plans for expansion and development opportunities.
- Ensure existing customer needs are met and support customer engagement strategies.
- Educate and train sales teams on Regen Ag and Differentiation programs.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 6-8 years’ experience in account management, business development, or sales, with customer-facing roles.
- Strong passion for Sustainability & Regen Agriculture.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and professional demeanor.
- Customer-centric with proven relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- Background in Food, Fuel, Feed, or Industrial Industry.
- Experience managing global accounts and projects.
- Proficiency in software applications within a Windows environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
