As Senior Credit Analyst (f / m / d) in the Risk Rating department EMEA / Asia Australia, you will prepare credit analyses and assign risk ratings for project finance transactions and corporate obligors involved in SFS’s project and structured business across Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Australia. You will also contribute to the development of rating methods, credit data banks, and the digitalization of rating processes.

This is your impact:

1. You will evaluate the creditworthiness of projects and corporate obligors across various industries, focusing on energy and infrastructure sectors.
2. You will analyze financial models, financial statements, and cash flow projections, and prepare and sensitize cash flow models.
3. You will collaborate with deal teams, including Rating, Risk Management, and Origination.
4. You will assign obligor ratings within the given Rating Authority.
5. You will monitor the creditworthiness of portfolio counterparties and initiate rating actions as necessary.
6. Your analyses will be presented to the Rating Committee and the Siemens Bank Credit Committee.
7. You will ensure knowledge exchange with Risk Rating Americas and Risk Management in Business Units.
8. You will support training and coaching of less experienced analysts and colleagues.
9. You will participate in refining and developing rating methodologies.
10. You will explore opportunities to digitalize analytical processes and incorporate artificial intelligence solutions.

• Education: Degree in economics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Alternatively, a completed apprenticeship with extensive work experience.
• Experience & Skills: At least 5 years analyzing project finance transactions at a bank or financial institution. Knowledge of corporate finance and macroeconomics. Strong interest and experience in digitalization and AI projects. Proficiency in financial modeling and financial statement analysis. Ability to present analyses clearly and confidently. Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude. Languages: Proficiency in German and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
