We are looking for you, located in Trier, Vienna, Bordeaux (with 60% remote work option) as a

Senior System Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:
  1. Plan, install, and manage system landscapes for the ORBIS(R) software across all software lifecycle phases, including development, integration, testing, and release.
  2. Perform operational tasks such as software updates, upgrades, system health monitoring, and environment decommissioning.
  3. Monitor infrastructure, analyze log files, troubleshoot update-related issues, and ensure system availability and quality of software deliveries.
  4. Support and collaborate with internal stakeholders like developers, testers, and QA teams.
  5. Automate workflows and optimize processes in cooperation with the tooling development team.
  6. Onboard new software into test environments by working closely with product owners and development teams.
You bring along:
  1. A university degree in IT or a related field, or several years of experience in IT or software administration.
  2. Strong technical skills in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) and technologies like Linux, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  3. Good to have: Additional expertise in Python, Go, Groovy, Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Terraform, or ORBIS(R) operation.
  4. Talent for workflow automation, process optimization, and understanding complex system dependencies.
  5. High standards for quality, excellent organizational skills, and a service-oriented mindset.
  6. Fluent English skills and effective communication in a professional setting.
