Job Description:
- Solve complex statistical problems and manage statistical programming, including data cleaning and validation, to create reproducible datasets from various sources.
- Analyze biomedical data from observational cohort studies, validate results, and effectively communicate findings to non-statisticians.
- Develop and contribute to statistical analysis plans for industry collaborations and academic research projects, ensuring feasibility and methodological rigor.
- Prepare and review statistical content for conference publications, technical reports, and scientific papers, staying current with new clinical research designs and statistical methodologies.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning about nephrology and rare kidney diseases, including relevant medical terminology.
- Possess a Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field (Medical Biometry, Biostatistics, Medical Informatics, Bioinformatics, Data Sciences) or be in the final year of your Master’s program.
- Have expertise in statistical software (R, SAS, Python) and advanced statistical methods, modeling, and multivariate statistics. Knowledge in R and/or SAS for creating scientific/statistical reports, with scientific writing skills.
- Experience in statistical analysis of small datasets and understanding of clinical pharmacology and epidemiological studies is advantageous.
- Be a team player with a high degree of initiative.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English (minimum C1); knowledge of German is a plus.
- Possibility of mobile working.
