About the Opportunity:

Amber Renewables is supporting a fast-growing clean energy investor in their search for a Head of Investment to lead the origination, structuring, and execution of new renewable energy investments. This is a senior-level opportunity (leading a team of two) for a proven investor with a strong network and deep expertise in renewable energy, real estate, or sustainable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Deal Origination: Source and drive new investment opportunities across clean energy, real estate, and C&I solar.
• Execute Transactions: Oversee the full investment cycle - due diligence, financial modelling, deal execution, and post-close ownership.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing investment team.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external partners, including legal, technical, and banking stakeholders.
• Financial Oversight: Ensure financial models are accurate and robust; present investment materials to executive leadership.
• Portfolio & Asset Oversight: Support strategic portfolio decisions and financial performance post-investment.

Your Background:

• 8+ years' experience in private equity, infrastructure, real estate, or clean energy investments.
• Strong track record in structuring and closing deals.
• Experience managing teams and working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics or related field.
