We exclusively support our client, a leading European provider of high-tech metal components, in finding an Automation Software Developer (m/w/d). This position is directly placed in the eastern Stuttgart area.

Tasks

1. Architecture & Development: Design and implement modular C# applications for production and logistics processes.
2. Driving digitization: Automate workflows (e.g., planning tools, reporting dashboards) and integrate external interfaces (SAP, MES).
3. Code quality & best practices: Establish clean code principles, unit tests, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
4. Agile collaboration: Work in a cross-functional team with project management, electrical engineering, and process engineers.
5. Innovation scout: Evaluate new frameworks (.NET 6+, Blazor, Azure) and advance proof-of-concept projects.

Profile

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, software engineering, applied computer science, or comparable qualification.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in C#/.NET environments, preferably with a focus on desktop and web applications.
• Proficient in Entity Framework, REST APIs, and relational databases (SQL Server).
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps/Jenkins, and automated testing procedures.
• Curiosity for modern cloud technologies (Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) and agility (Scrum/Kanban).
• Fluent German language skills.
