Your Qualifications

• Master’s degree in physics, mathematics, data science, statistics, computer science, business informatics, or related fields
• Enthusiasm for applying mathematics and machine learning technology to make our financial products faster, better, and more convenient to use
• First experience and good handling of machine learning and deep learning packages (e.g., scikit-learn, LightGBM, TensorFlow)
• Solid Python programming and software engineering skills, ideally with experience in REST frameworks like FastAPI
• Creativity and curiosity to apply recent algorithms in data science (like LSTM, transformer models)
• Fluent spoken and written English skills. German skills are beneficial but not mandatory

Your Responsibilities

• You will automate related business processes using data science methods such as classification, clustering, or named entity recognition on text and images
• Experiment with machine learning algorithms in the NLP field, manage training experiments with modern MLOps frameworks, and help lift our product to the next level
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning and discuss how to utilize generative AI models like transformers
• Analyze and preprocess data pools, decide on appropriate models, validate them, and embed them in production-ready microservices, integrating autonomously into our platform
• Collaborate directly with IT developers and product managers in a cross-disciplinary team
