Join us at Karo Healthcare on our exciting journey. We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Customer & Shopper Marketing Manager for our Düsseldorf office.

Responsibilities

Overall

  • Manage and develop our Pharmacy DACH customer landscape, aiming for growth faster than the market.
  • Drive rapid adoption of winning A+ content, assortment, ratings and reviews, search term optimization, Retail Media Planning, execution, and ongoing recap with customers. Analyze ex-Pos activities and adapt plans for major DACH+CE eCommerce customers.
  • Continuously develop capabilities, share best practices within Karo Healthcare globally, and identify new trends and innovations.
  • Ensure perfect execution of NPDs based on brand strategy by pharmacy customers and adapt strategies to different target groups.
  • Generate activity concepts in collaboration with the Brand Manager (local & global marketing) and Pharma Wholesale Key Account Management.
  • Hold regular meetings to review ongoing work streams, activity plans, and execution topics for the pharmacy sector (B&M).
  • Serve as the single point of contact for internal pharmacy reporting, customer activity reviews, and regular updates.
  • Manage budgeting, planning, and control of customer and brand-specific strategies.

Details

  • Analyze the presence of Karo Healthcare brands in pharmacies using IQVIA and internal data; drive targeted initiatives for improvement.
  • Use pharmacy category and shopper insights to enhance activation plans, aiming to establish Karo HC as a category market share leader in pharmacies.
  • Think creatively and propose innovative solutions to complex problems, taking a proactive approach to opportunities for growth.

Business Insights & Reporting

  • Monitor and deliver pharmacy sales and profit; analyze campaigns to evaluate effectiveness and optimize investments.
  • Leverage data analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Manage initial market research projects, from conception to analysis, interpretation, and presentation of results.

Cross-Functional Partnerships

  • Collaborate across functions and borders with key account management, brand management, and trade marketing to develop tailored solutions aligned with strategic priorities.
Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in OTC/FMCG pharmacy environment.
  • Successful track record in tactical pharmacy initiatives.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of consumer goods P&L management and influencing factors.
  • Solid knowledge of category analysis and key drivers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Healthcare OTC, FMCG, and Beauty Care sectors.
  • Previous roles in Trade or Digital Marketing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to create, grow, and foster development.
