What We Are Looking For:

As Team Leader for Integration Vehicle Device (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the technical management of a design team focused on the holistic mechanical integration of equipment sets in military systems.

Your Responsibilities Include:

1. Providing technical leadership to a design team, focusing on mechanical brackets and integration of platform-specific electrical devices, as defined by the project device list (power distribution, lighting, etc.).
2. Planning, coordinating, and organizing work from the creation of work packages to series production readiness.
3. Holistic integration of set-up kits, device kits, installation kits, and mission kits.
4. Designing and testing functional assemblies for mission fulfillment, kinematic systems, and complex stowage systems within ergonomic, protective, and functional boundaries.
5. Creating specifications and functional specifications.
6. Implementing or initiating verifications for the integrated components.

Qualifications You Should Have:

1. Completed studies in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or a comparable field.
2. Several years of professional experience in design, vehicle, and plant construction, with initial experience in team leadership and managing external development partners.
3. Strong knowledge of MS Office, CAD, and PLM programs such as Siemens NX.
4. Knowledge of DOORS and MS Project is desirable.
5. Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
6. Strong technical understanding and creative system thinking.
7. Ability to work independently, with strong teamwork and leadership skills.
8. Willingness to travel occasionally.
