Manager Corporate Strategy & Mergers and Acquisitions (m/w/d) 80% - 100%
The Corporate Strategy & Business Development department, reporting to the CEO, is globally responsible for the group strategy as well as mergers & acquisitions. This includes, in addition to strategic governance, topics in the areas of business models, internationalization, and investment management.
Your Responsibilities
- Planning, organization, and management of national and international M&A transactions from the identification of potential targets through due diligence to contract negotiation and post-merger integration
- Financial due diligence, including company valuations, as well as plausibility checks and preparation of business plans
- Active contribution within the entire strategy process at both national and international levels, as well as for functional and country strategies
- Preparation of industry, market, and competitive analyses as well as the strategic analysis of future trends
- Systematic analysis of existing company structures and business processes in collaboration with the specialist departments
- Development of strategic concepts, decision templates, and presentations for the Board of Management and the Supervisory Board
- Management of investments, including their governance, strategies, reporting, restructurings, as well as collaboration with various internal functions and countries, including top management and external stakeholders
Your Profile
- Successfully completed degree in business administration, economics or a comparable degree, ideally with a focus on finance, accounting or strategy
- Several years of experience in a leasing company, auditing firm, and/or management consultancy, strategy department, or in the M&A field, ideally in an international environment
- Ideally, industry knowledge from the IT- or leasing environment
- Ideally, knowledge of IFRS 16, US-GAAP and leasing-relevant HGB regulations
- Proficiency in analyses and reporting
- Knowledge of tax law is an advantage
- Very good proficiency in englisch and german, other languages are an advantage
- Very good proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking
- High quality standard and very good conceptual skills
- (Limited) willingness to travel
