Functional area: Engineering

The team "Civil & Electrical Engineering" within the "Wind Turbine, Quality, Civil & Electrical Engineering" Department seeks a Lead Expert Electrical Components engineer. The role involves supporting operational engineering across Europe and Australia, optimizing electrical Balance of Plant (BoP) including electrical components for wind, solar, and BESS projects. Responsibilities include developing technical standards, evaluating suppliers, and strategic assessment of electrical components.

Your tasks:

• Operational support: Serve as global technical authority on electrical components, establish standards, support plant modifications, and optimize operations.
• Assessment and evaluation: Lead prequalification of electrical components, participate in FATs and audits, collaborate with procurement.
• Optimization: Identify efficiency opportunities, standardize designs, promote best practices, and foster a community of electrical component experts.
• External influence: Influence industry standards, represent the company in external forums, and promote engineering excellence.

Your profile:

• Degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience with HV electrical components.
• Asset management and operation strategy experience preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent team and intercultural skills, high ethical standards.
• Willingness to travel internationally, fluent English required.
