Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Enterprise Architect is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for leading the design of complex managed service solutions and driving the strategic vision and direction for the company’s largest enterprise clients.

This expert creates blueprints for managed service solutions and guides clients and industry on technology investment directions. They combine technical expertise and business acumen to design IT strategies aligned with clients' business objectives, KPIs, and SLAs.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design of large, complex managed service solutions, coordinating with service teams to support client outcomes and integrating technology across domains, units, or regions.
2. Collaborate with sales to participate in presales activities, including meetings, proposals, solutions, and presentations.
3. Translate client business strategies into IT strategies and roadmaps, focusing on service solutions and end-to-end design.
4. Lead solution design discussions with clients and support internal teams to map requirements.
5. Integrate services, processes, applications, data, and technology across multiple domains and geographies.
6. Share best practices and contribute to the company's knowledge base.
7. Use understanding of client industries and solutions to personalize offerings aligned with SLAs and KPIs.
8. Develop business cases and roadmaps to optimize IT operations and business value.
9. Interpret and develop IT strategies, implementing their execution.
10. Define architectural principles and guide governance.
11. Create As-Is, To-Be, and transition architectures, identifying gaps and developing roadmaps.
12. Manage application and technology portfolios using various frameworks and tools.
13. Develop strategic and solution architectures within the Enterprise Architecture domain.
14. Design and implement comprehensive solutions, including service portfolios and lifecycle management.
15. Synthesize technology trends with client strategies to create value-driven solutions.
16. Lead service integration across domains and geographies.

Knowledge and Attributes

• Expert in enterprise, application, and business design processes, bringing together client needs and multi-domain considerations.
• Deep knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Managed Services, Service Management, and related solutions across domains and regions.
• Strong understanding of how technology solutions impact and are influenced by business scenarios.
• Ability to develop service schedules, SLAs, and contracts from value propositions.
• Skilled in developing service transformation architectures and managing risks.
• Broad understanding of IT systems, security, data, and architecture frameworks.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Certifications in Enterprise Architecture (preferably TOGAF), and IT Service Management (ITIL, COBIT).
• Scaled Agile certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; German language skills are advantageous.

Required Experience

• Proven success in selling managed services in cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in consulting and IT roles within large, multinational technology environments.
• Experience in IT operations within a global organization.
• Experience across enterprise applications, networking, data centers, security, and digital solutions.
• Strong client engagement, needs assessment, and change management skills.
• Experience in solution integration, business development, and pre-sales.
