As a Security Application Engineer, you'll be part of a new specialized team within the 'Health' business area, serving as the central contact for security matters. You'll work on exciting projects with renowned clients in the healthcare sector, applying and expanding your skills. adesso offers targeted training programs to enhance your security portfolio.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Preventing, detecting, and fixing vulnerabilities in code, design, and architecture
2. Conducting threat and security analyses
3. Performing static and dynamic security tests (e.g., code scans, fuzzing, pentesting)
4. Implementing secure development processes within project teams as a hands-on developer
5. Serving as the main contact for security-related topics in the healthcare sector
6. Training project, development teams, and clients on relevant security topics
7. Developing processes for the secure handling of highly sensitive and confidential data
8. Possessing advanced experience in IT and/or application security
9. Having knowledge of programming and scripting languages, primarily Java (Spring Boot), Angular, and Python
10. Demonstrating analytical and structured problem-solving skills
11. Willingness to travel for projects and excellent command of German
12. Security certifications are a plus
