Job Description:

At G+D Currency Technology, we are seeking a Regional Sales Director CB/PW Sales (m/f/d) for the CEE region (Central and Eastern Europe). As Regional Sales Director CB/PW Sales, you will oversee all sales activities within the Central Bank and Printworks market in the specified countries. Your role involves identifying new sales opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving business growth.

Your responsibilities:
  • Lead regional complex sales activities for CB/PW, engaging with customers and key accounts
  • Provide strong leadership for Currency Products and Services sales within the EU region, coordinating with the Head of Sales – Central Banks/Printworks
  • Manage key accounts to maintain ongoing contact and build long-term partnerships
  • Generate leads through networking, upselling, and customer relationship management
  • Communicate new business opportunities to regional management
  • Assess customer needs using structured approaches and translate these into concrete requirements
  • Develop customer-specific solution offers, including scope, pricing, and resource planning
  • Manage the transition from pre-sales to sales phases
  • Negotiate deals and finalize sales and maintenance contracts with customers
  • Accurately report sales activities, revenues, and forecasts in Salesforce
  • Develop a 3-5 year account strategy
  • Monitor sales targets and performance in the region
  • Collaborate closely with sales colleagues in the Commercial Market
Minimum requirements:
  • University degree (Master, MBA, PhD) in engineering, consumer science, or business
  • At least 6 years of sales management experience in the CB/PW market
  • Relevant professional experience of 6+ years
  • Experience in pipeline development and go-to-market planning
  • Ideally, key account management experience with government sectors
  • Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently and in teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with direct sales and distributor management, especially in the public sector
  • Business-fluent in English; additional regional languages are a plus
  • International work experience
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the sales region
