Job Description:

As a Named Accounts Manager, you will play an integral role in new business pitches, hold responsibility for the effective onboarding of new clients, and focus on growing and developing existing customers. This role allows you to leverage your extensive network to generate and expand opportunities, develop business and account plans for current and new tender opportunities, and serve as the key interface between the customer and relevant divisions.

The Fortinet sales team comprises highly driven professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit and a hunger for success. Operating from Germany offices and/or remotely, their mission is to generate new business opportunities through direct sales and strategic partnerships.

At Fortinet, you will

  • Gain and demonstrate a solid understanding of Fortinet’s technology to effectively communicate our value to decision-makers.
  • Build strong relationships with customer contacts up to C-level executives to understand their business needs and IT drivers, enabling strategic sales planning.
  • Sell Fortinet products and services using a consultative approach and maintain relationships with key account contacts.
  • Research customers, identify decision-makers, educate prospects, and qualify interest and urgency.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans focused on enterprise-wide deployment of Fortinet solutions.
  • Coordinate company resources to maximize sales within assigned accounts.
  • Engage with System Engineers, Channel Managers, and sales teams to foster cooperation.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to ensure customer value and satisfaction.
  • Keep customers informed about Fortinet’s product roadmaps to assist in planning and risk mitigation.
