The AI Services Tribe develops and delivers in-production AI shared services that are scaled organization-wide, providing business value at scale.

We’re seeking a talented UI Frontend Engineer passionate about creating intuitive, high-performance user interfaces and transforming complex AI capabilities into delightful user experiences.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive AI frontends using React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS.
• Build robust, scalable architectures with Webpack/Vite and Node.js, Express.js.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to craft intuitive and efficient user experiences.
• Implement and maintain REST APIs and WebSocket integrations for real-time interactions.
• Write clean, testable code with high test coverage using React Testing Library.
• Create reusable UI components and document them in Storybook.
• Translate design prototypes (e.g., from Figma) into functional, pixel-perfect UIs.
• Automate and streamline development workflows using CI/CD pipelines and GitHub workflows.
• Ensure accessibility, performance, and adherence to UI/UX best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by advocating better tools, processes, and coding standards.
• Deploy and maintain frontend components in Google Cloud environments.
• Contribute to UI design and engineering best practices, including UI-based test automation and development of shared assets like code templates, libraries, utilities, and services.

Your skills and experiences

Must-have:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design robust solutions.
• Experience working with proprietary UI component libraries.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Webpack.
• Experience with REST APIs and WebSocket.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
• Experience with React Testing Library.
• Proficiency with Figma for collaboration with designers.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and GitHub workflows.
• Hands-on experience deploying or integrating with Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of frontend security and performance considerations.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience building UIs for AI/ML applications or data-heavy interfaces.
• Experience with CSS frameworks and Storybook.
• Familiarity with AI model interaction patterns and agentic workflows.
