Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d)

Location: Munich, Germany; Berlin, Germany; remote, Germany; remote, Greece; remote, Spain

We rely on our Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) to empower our users with solutions that offer a rich feature set, high availability, and stellar performance to pursue their missions. We are searching for someone who brings fresh ideas, a unique viewpoint, and enjoys collaborating within a cross-functional team to develop solutions for a positive user experience.

Your responsibilities

• Develop software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
• Actively shape, build, and continue our production environment while maintaining a holistic view of system health.
• Enhance the reliability and quality of our software solutions by automating deployments, dependency checks, updates, and more.
• Provide primary operational support and engineering expertise for distributed software solutions.
• Gather and analyse metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance services through rigorous testing and release procedures, as well as improve automation and/or introduce new automation/frameworks based on findings.
• Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning to create sustainable systems and services through automation and improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related disciplines.
• Proficient in coding (structured and OOP) using one or more high-level languages such as Python, Java, C/C#, or Rust.
• Experience with distributed storage technologies as well as dynamic resource management frameworks.
• Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
• As a person you are well structured and have an analytical and goal-oriented way of working.
• Excellent English communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas and opinions to stakeholders.
